A huge thank you to all the people and partners who have helped to shape Food Five Ways sustainable food neighbourhood over the past year.
Before Christmas, Incredible Edible Lambeth submitted a bid for £50k to Reaching Communities – if successful, we will have funding to jointly run a community food festival in 2026 in Food Five Ways neighbourhood. Partners to the bid include Healthy Living Platform, Loughborough Community Centre at Max Roach, Loughborough Junction Action Group, Myatt’s Fields Park Project and Marcus Lipton Community Enterprise. Thanks to everyone for your hard work in shaping the bid and signing up for future joint working!
Also 24 people have given their feedback on what’s good about local food and what’s missing during five conversations held in November and December 2025. We’ll be bringing everyone together for another big conversation on 16th January, and will then publish a report with recommendations for future actions. Big thanks to everyone that took part, especially workshop leaders from Eyes of Many, Lambeth Mutual Aid, Max Roach, Shamha Vibration and Marcus Lipton.
