A ‘tiny forest’ that provides an important haven for rare insects, this special spot has been described as “small, wild, and enjoyable” by the Brixton Buzz.
Parks and Gardens has put together a lovely description of this area that was once part of the Great North Wood and now contains a mix of ornamental trees dating from the C19th garden, native specimens more recently planted and a beautiful example of a deadwood hedge.
