We’re very grateful to the team from DWS who came along to our volunteer day at the Landor Road Garden Project and helped transform an overgrown area into a children’s food growing garden. The team also cleared some overgrown plots and turned over a huge compost pile, uncovering some beautiful crumbly compost ready to go straight on the beds.
Thanks to Valcie Macintosh and Nicola Bellinfantie from Landor Road garden, who helped make the day a success. Nicola manages a community plot at the garden and is planning to run some food growing workshops for children in the new food growing area.
