A big thank you to the 35 people that attended our two community assemblies on 29th June and 13th July at Brixton Windmill. People taking part included food growers (community projects as well as schools, home growers and allotment growers), mutual aid groups and community connectors, councillors and council officers. Together we identified barriers to food growing in Lambeth, and created a vision of what success will look like in five years’ time. On 13th July participants chose which actions we should jointly prioritise and were invited to sign up to a steering group. We will create a report summarising our findings which will be published soon and will continue working together for the Right To Grow in Lambeth!
