We had a busy day on Friday (17th July) creating a new food growing area at Loughborough Community Centre at Max Roach Park in Central Brixton. It was a truly collaborative day. We worked with staff and volunteers from the community centre and Friends of Max Roach Park to make it happen, and are grateful to the team from Ringway Infrastructure Services who came along and got stuck in to all of the different jobs. We built three new beds for food growing and shifted two tonnes of compost onto the food growing areas. The beds will be maintained by the community centre in collaboration with the Friends of Max Roach Park going forwards.
