Location
We are a small estate (managed by Lambeth Housing) of 30 households, 50/50 leaseholders and tenants, . We have 10 active gardeners who are helping to maintain the upkeep of the green spaces on our estate – wild flowers and planting (funding from London Wildlife Trust and Herne Hill Forum) and a new veg patch that we’ve started this year – mostly potatoes, but also seeds from Incredible Edible Lambeth to individual members.
We have talked with Lambeth Council about not mowing all of our green space, created a log pile, two new flowerbeds and created two composting areas from pallets.
