Located just steps away from the children’s playground, this garden is “looked after by residents for everyone”. Residents started the garden in 202o with help from Urban Growth and funding from Lambeth. At that time it was just four raised beds. Now, along the perimeter you can find well laden fruit trees, larger-than-life cardoons, beautifully scented sweet peas. Also along the garden edge the residents have installed several water butts using rain water to keep the garden in top shape. This is a welcoming gardening group (no experience necessary!) and the gardeners encourage people to help themselves to the vegetables, leaving helpful hints as to what is ready for harvesting.
