Established in 2000, Eden Nature Garden is one of London’s best kept secret gardens. Tucked away on a public footpath between the Wandsworth Road and Rectory Grove, the garden aims to create a green, tranquil, inner city space for people to sit and play. It aims to create and maintain a sustainable habitat for wildlife and promote recycling and bio-diversity by planting British native species and through organic gardening. Eden is inclusive and aims to benefit the whole community. It has won numerous awards and is a registered charity, depending on the generosity of volunteers and supporters. Eden has eleven raised beds where locals without gardens of their own can grow vegetables and flowers. It also has a large apiary and sells honey.
