Lambeth’s Neighbourhood Enhancement Programme built the street beds. Claylands Green Gardening Group, CGGG, have planted up the street beds including a dry gravel bed that needs no water.
They also have a naturalised area on the Green where we are sewing yellow rattle to help a variety of indigenous plants to flourish.
There are two new beds on the Green and they service 13 pavement planters to break up the hard lines of the local public realm.
CGGG volunteers meet 4pm, 3rd Sunday of the month.
