We held our ‘Growing Communities Together’ workshop on Saturday in partnership with the South London Botanical Institute and High Trees. Thanks to members to the growing groups at Tulse Hill Estate, Ethelred Estate, Loughborough Farm and Friends of Hillside Gardens for coming along to learn about effective community engagement. We learnt about how to target specific groups and the importance of active listening and co-design. We also enjoyed delicious lunch from West Norwood-based cafe, Sweet Carolina, in the the SLBI’s gorgeous garden.
