Children across Lambeth will grow fresh fruit and vegetables this summer thanks to seedlings IEL provided today. 16 schools each picked up 3 trays of free plants including everything from tomatoes to pumpkins and chillies to beans, from Myatt’s Fields Park greenhouse on 19th May.
Thanks to Lambeth Public Health for funding IEL to support school food growing in 2025-26. And a big thank you to Simon from Telferscott School for bringing us loads of crates which meant we were able to distribute the plants.
