Thanks to DWS corporate volunteers who planted up a pond, and weeded and planted a large veg bed at Woody Farm on 15th July. Despite the heat wave, everyone worked very hard with great results. The food growing project is led by chefs in the school, who cook children’s food from scratch each day. It includes a pond, an orchard, a wild area, a polytunnel and beds full of flowers and food. Produce is harvested and contributes to the school’s salad bar.
