It was a busy week as an Incredible Edible Lambeth director headed off to Liverpool to learn about the work of Farm Urban on 14th August. Farm Urban brought together community representatives from across Lambeth and Southwark for a day of exploration as we learned about how Farm Urban supports communities to become greener, healthier and more inclusive through indoor vertical growing. Food Five Ways neighbourhood organisations included Health Living Platform, Loughborough Junction Action Group, Eyes of Many and Incredible Edible Lambeth.
IEL will continue to work with Farm Urban to ensure as many people as possible can access healthy, affordable and culturally appropriate food, grown both outdoors and indoors in the city!
