We will work with residents to create thriving, biodiverse environments on selected housing estates in Lambeth from June 2024 to June 2025. Many estates are “green deserts” with only grass and no other planting; others are teeming with life as residents grow food and flowers. We have employed a Biodiversity Estates Coordinator (Thea Wong) to support residents to design and carry out the changes they want to make.
Thea has put out an appeal for volunteers to help engage residents, create new plantings and generally make our environment more biodiverse! Contact her at thea.wong@incredibleediblelambeth.org to find out more.
Thanks to Lambeth Council for funding this through the Social Value Fund.
