We grow a large variety of local and tropical vegetables, herbs, fruit & flowers in this hugely productive wildlife-friendly community garden. We also do a lot of seed saving.
All the produce is harvested and cooked on site so volunteers can enjoy free nutritious, organic, carbon-zero meals on a weekly basis. The garden also functions as a place of refuge and relaxation; a space that brings people together and helps build friendships.
It is loved by all and vey much at the heart of the work that The Community Shop does – building stronger individuals and more confident communities.
