The first in our Studio series: four courses with a welcome drink, offering seasonal, local, foraged and what would be wasted produce. Combining the culinary expertise of local catering duo Kitchen Party cooks (instagram @kitchenpartycooks) and ceramic artist Itchy Hands (instagram @itchy.hands). The table dressing will feature Itchy Hands’ most recent project ‘desire->consume->waste’ which responds to the cyclical nature of consumerism and looks into how to develop a sustainable creative practice. The individual ceramic pieces utilise rubbish and by-products, such as spent malt, in the development of a centre-piece.
Maybe you have some surplus food – if so, get in touch with KP cooks and offer them your produce to utilise in their kitchen!
